A Resilient Supply Chain starts with Managing Contractor Risk

According to a recent survey by BDO, 84% of enterprise-level CFOs named supply chain disruption as their biggest business risk, with talent shortage as the second (79%). EHS leaders play an increasingly larger role in addressing risks for 3rd party companies and addressing resilience of the supply chain. In fact, 95% of EHS leaders have full ownership or some decision-making authority for defining supply chain and contractor management strategies across the organisation. *

Doing the right thing is just good business. To protect people, business and brand effectively, EHS leaders will need to partner closer with other parts of the business and account for an influx of contractor risk in their operations. At the same time, EHS leaders must address a broader spectrum of risks and contend with more complex legislation that extends well beyond traditional safety practices.
