As well as expanding its market position in the PPE sector, the takeover also provides the ideal expansion for the HB product range. This enables the company to continue to pursue its policy of planned growth, which has been successful since 2005 when the company acquired the ESD arm of NSP.

In the cold protection sector in particular, in which Tempex products are among the leading products, HB Schutzbekleidung sees a great deal of potential for further growth. As well as their high product quality, Tempex also has a good reputation. "That's why we have made a conscious decision to continue using the Tempex brand name," said Berthold.
