Chainsaw protection

Severnside Safety Supplies has announced the availability of new Francital Sestriere chainsaw trousers.

The trousers are said to be the top of the new Platinum PRO range from Francital, featuring SoFly lightweight, low bulk 5 layer protective material. The garments conform to EN381-5 Class 1 Design A for protection against chainsaws.

Outer materials are a combination of water repellent (hydrophobic) stretchy and hard wearing, abrasion resistant, ripstop materials such as Cordura and Spandex.

Design features include: a Cordura grid over the stretchy front material to give protection against abrasion and, to some extent hot exhausts; plug spanner carrier; tool clips;

buttons for braces; high back; two way zip fly; elasticated gaiters with hook built into the bottom of the trousers leg; and front pockets with downward closing zips.
