Your Safety PAL was officially launched on 10th December 2015 at Rolls Royce Leisure in Hucknall, Nottingham. Guests – which included managing directors, financial directors, project managers, site managers, health and safety officers and senior consultants – received a hands-on demonstration of the Your Safety PAL software, a free lunch and an extended 45-day trial to see how the common-sense solution can improve their own business.

The solution has been three years in the making, with a core team working on producing an application that would simplify health and safety requirements and ensure they’re relevant for today’s digitally optimized workplace.

According to creators PAL Software, many businesses nowadays find they spend too much time being reactive to health and safety issues. Your Safety PAL allows them to get ahead, removing unnecessary documentation and offering an uncomplicated, pro-active approach.

Your Safety PAL allows businesses to seamlessly link separate documents and operations – from risk assessments to work permits and safety alerts to inductions – with all files kept in one encrypted secure, cloud-accessible location. This coordination of procedures prevents dangerous or unauthorized actions being taken, which in turn helps to keep all staff and visitors safe – and crucially, protects the business against any potential legal action.

Your Safety PAL can integrate seamlessly with any existing systems a business might have and ensures that all information has a controlled audit trail. The system is described as allowing businesses to be even more proactive about safety, wellbeing and business costs. Online options allows users to identify previously omitted difficulties with onsite work, as well as reducing the need for location-based inductions and training.
