Emergency alert system

Harmonys, a versatile network-based PA, audio and bell sounding system, has been launched by Bodet.

This system uses standard Internet Protocol and POE (Power over Ethernet) which means it can run over established computer networks, so is suitable for refurbishment projects as well as new builds.

Linking with Bodet’s synchronous clock system means bells, melodies or pre-recoded announcements can be automatically broadcast at set times such as shift changes, lunch breaks or end of day. Each sounder has its own IP address, so the system can be programmed to broadcast alerts to all sounders or up to 15 specified zones within the organisation.

There is also manual activation for emergency situations. Harmonys can broadcast specific alerts for both evacuation and lockdown so everybody knows exactly what to do whatever situation arises.

Harmonys is suitable for schools, large offices, warehouses, shops and supermarkets, as well as for multi-site organisations such as hospitals, sports and leisure centres, food preparation and manufacturing sites.
