To ensure its range meets legislative requirements, Mac Tools has embarked on a programme of product testing, with six of its power tools passing the rigorous HSE process to date. The stand-out example is the AWP050 ½" drive impact wrench - known as 'the Daddy' - which easily outperformed legislation by producing 60% less vibration than the specified acceptable level.

The AWP050 features a feather throttle and over-moulded grip for maximum operator control, as well as one-hand power adjustment and one-hand reverse system. It also has a greatly reduced weight compared to others in its class and increased durability due to its titanium housing.

A side-fed air motor gives the tool impressive power, tested above a maximum reverse torque of 1260 FT/LBS, and an air inlet with 360° rotation together with a titanium exhaust deflector and muffler make for easier, cleaner and quieter use with vibration kept to a minimum.
