HB-BodySafe FR: Protection, comfort and functionality

In order to improve the protective performance of your PPE against arc flash and heat, the use of certified flame retardant underwear is recommended. HB Protective Wear's HB-BodySafe FR is highly functional underwear that is very comfortable to wear thanks to its material and manufacture.  

The product line offers antistatic properties – relevant for working areas in order to prevent unintended electrostatic (de)charging. HB-BodySafe FR is also certified according to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX. 

The new HB functional underwear takes into account the different requirements of the individual areas of the body. Via body mapping, Woven flex and transpiration zones allow greater freedom of movement and reliably transport moisture. The shirt has flexible zones at waist, upper arms and front as well as transpiration zones below the arms, on the back and at the front. The trousers have an elasticated waistband and flex zones on the upper leg and the hollow of the knee as well as transpiration zones at waistband and crotch. 

HB-BodySafe FR has a slim fit and is made of very elastic and soft material which makes it feel like a second skin. There is no pleat or pilling effect on the surface. It is fast drying and offers high breathability as well as a good sweat management. Thanks to the seamless manufacture there are no annoying side seams – a fact that again optimises wearing comfort and fit.  

The material composition is very special: Aramide offer high tear resistance, high-quality FR Viscose from Lenzing, soft, lightweight and easy-to-care modacrylic, elasthan for elasticity and tear strength and last but not least carbon fibre for providing antistatic properties.
