High performing sensors

At only 36x36x13mm, the MC36C series are coded safety magnetic sensors which can be used to monitor the position of hinged, sliding or removable guards in industrial applications; perfectly suited to damp, dirty and dusty environments, these sensors offer large tolerances for when mechanical features may change over time, thanks to the wide actuation range.

The sensors are available with left or right exit and come complete with an integrated 2m PVC cable or M8 connection and optional LED indicator for easy fault finding.  Housing is manufactured in a reinforced polymeric casing (PBT) and offers IP67 protection whilst operation temperature can range from -25°C to +80°C.

Carlo Gavazzi safety sensors stop or disconnect the dangerous motions, if the mobile protections are opened or displaced. The MC36C range is suited to safety gates applications up to safety category 4, PLe according to EN ISO 13849-1 with suitable logic safety module.

The MC36C compact safety magnetic range fulfils all European and North American regulations for safety gates and is CE and cULs approved.
