High visibility garments are a part of everyday life for many workers across many environments, but for most the reflective technology hasn’t changed in years.

Now there’s a new alternative which increases safety and maximises personal visibility whilst still conforming to existing regulations.

Wearable Technologies Limited, suppliers of the highly popular Visijax consumer garments, is now bringing its advanced LED lighting systems into the PPE market.

Embedded directly into the fabric, the LEDs work in tandem with existing high visibility measures, providing 360 degrees of visibility, reducing blind spots and removing the need for light sources to identify personnel in low light environments.

A small removable control box allows for one button operation with three modes of usage. The control box doubles as a USB rechargeable battery to provide up to 20 hours of continual use. After disconnection, the garments can then be washed as required.

Based in the UK, Wearable Technologies Limited work with licensed PPE manufacturers to ensure the technology is totally compatible with all existing garments prior to production.
