FLIR's new GF306 thermal imaging
camera offers a portable solution for
the detection of the gas sulphur
hexafluoride (SF6). It can also
visualise 20 other gases in long wave
including ethylene, propylene, acetic
acid, ammonia and other VOCs that
cannot be seen with the naked eye.
This is carried out in real time,
without any need for post processing.
Fully radiometric, in addition to gas
detection the GF306 can also be used
for electrical and mechanical
maintenance applications. It employs
a cooled detector for greater sensitivity
and is able to scan large areas rapidly,
pinpoint leaks in real time and
provide verification of the process.
