Integrated PA/sounder system

Harmonys, a network-based PA, audio and bell sounding system has just been launched by Bodet.

Suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects, the system uses standard Internet Protocol so can run over established computer networks. Broadcasting live or recorded announcements, melody or bell sounds, Harmonys can also activate specific emergency alerts for evacuation or lock down.

Taking its power and data from an existing computer network, the Harmonys system requires minimal cabling. Each sounder has its own IP address and the system can be programmed to broadcast announcements or alerts to all sounders - or up to 15 specified zones within the organisation.

The central control box is used for manual activation of bell sounds, announcements or emergency alerts, and a microphone for live or pre-recorded announcements.

Linking with Bodet’s synchronous clock system means bells, melodies or pre-recorded announcements can be automatically broadcast at set times such as shift changes, lunch breaks or end of day.

Harmonys is suitable for schools, large offices, warehouses, shops and supermarkets, as well as multi-site organisations such as hospitals, sports and leisure centres, food preparation and manufacturing sites.
