Move for Tripal Group

The Tripal Group has since identified additional areas for growth and now as well as designing and sourcing footwear for its bespoke business the Group has launched its own brands, not only of safety footwear but also workwear and specialist slip resistant and outdoor footwear.

As with any business success, there are also challenges to overcome along the way and most recently for the Tripal Group was the need for larger premises to accommodate its growing workforce and the requirement for additional warehouse space. In light of the somewhat unstable global economy it was a tough decision to make but the growth, success and demands of the business dictated that in March 2016 the Tripal Group moved into its own purpose built premises in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, maintaining its ties to a county that is renowned globally for its quality footwear offering.

The move into the new building was also an opportunity to bring together all of the company’s operations under one roof, as previously the warehouse and offices were in different locations. It has also enabled the group to make a further investment in their technical department. Already fully committed to ongoing research and development with representation on the EN/TC161 European Safety Standards Committee and a collaboration agreement in place with Sheffield University, with one of its Polymer Chemists working for the business, the Tripal Group has now established its own on-site laboratory.
