This year, the team at Safety &
Health Expo have conducted a
series of focus groups and
research around the event to ensure the
creation of a relevant and forward
thinking show that caters to the evolving
needs of the safety and health
professional in 2013.
Using the research and industry insight to
shape the event, Safety and Health Expo
2013 will not only provide a complete
industry update for those working within
the sector but will offer practical solutions
for enhancing safety and health cultures
and employee health and wellbeing in any
organisation.
Safety and Health Expo is the only UK
health and safety show to have the
support of all three primary health and
safety associations: Institution of
Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH),
The Royal Society for the Prevention of
Accidents (RoSPA) and The British Safety
Industry Federation (BSIF).
Organisers of the event are expecting
more than 250 exhibitors to the show this
year, with everything from fire safety
management, business driver safety to
environmental control, PPE and lone

include Fleet21, Concateno, Juice
Learning, HB Protective Clothing, Rocky
Brands and Superior Glove Works
alongside returning favourites Draeger
Safety, Portwest Clothing, Scott Safety and
ATG Gloves, amongst many others.
Safety & Health Expo provides
opportunities to discover the latest
products and services for the industry,
whilst offering visitors the chance to take
part in informative and interactive
educational sessions. With seven
dedicated theatres, zones and spaces for
education, live demonstrations,
interaction and networking, Safety and
Health Expo 2013 provides plenty of
opportunities for visitors to engage with
the leading professionals and innovators
within the sector.

include the SHP Legal Arena, the Access
Industry Forum's (AIF) Knowledge Base -

Wellbeing Theatre, the Arco Academy

respected lawyers in the country,
including Kevin Bridges from Pinsent
Masons, Jon Cooper from Bond Pearce,
Peter Forshaw of Weightmans, and Ron
Reid from Shoosmiths. They, and many
other leading solicitors, will be presenting
again on significant health and safety
cases and topics, offering advice on how
to avoid costly workplace incidents and
prosecutions.
Returning for its ninth year, the Access
Industry Forum's (AIF) Knowledge Base -
Working at Height will bring together the
principal trade associations and
federations involved in work at height in
an ambitious programme covering all the
hot topics affecting this sector.
The Health & Wellbeing Theatre will
address issues around boosting
productivity within the workplace
through a variety of initiatives, including
stress management, ergonomics,
behavioural safety, equality and diversity.
Sessions will cover employer obligations,
how to promote health and wellbeing
throughout the workplace and the impact
this has on the bottom line. Visitors to the
Arco Academy will be encouraged to take
part in live demonstrations and
discussions that will centre on education
through innovation, and the growing role
behavioural safety is playing in
transforming safety cultures across the
globe.
Open to both members and nonmembers,
the IOSH Networks Arena
allows visitors to meet with other health
and safety professionals at a series of
exclusive events running across the three

knowledge gaps identified by health and
safety professionals nationwide.

will offer an unmissable opportunity for
networking with top tier management
working within health and safety, whilst
also providing essential, commercially
driven debates on the issues faced by
leaders across the globe.
