New depot in South East

It is Star Platforms' second depot since launching near Luton, Bedfordshire in October 2014 and creates, initially, four new jobs in the area.

The new hire depot in Borough Green, near Sevenoaks, is ideally placed to serve construction and facilities management clients, among others, in London and the Home Counties, including Kent, Essex, Sussex and Surrey.

Joint managing director Richard Miller said: "Demand for our hire service is strong, so we are delighted to now provide our customers with coverage right across London and the South East via two depots either side of London. As members of the national hire group The Access Alliance we are also well placed to deliver platforms throughout the UK."

Co-owner and sales director Bryan Freeman, who will closely oversee operations at the depot, said: "We have already added a number of brand new, market leading machines at the new Kent depot and have also invested in our own delivery vehicles with experienced, IPAF trained drivers. As always our focus is to continue providing a first class, dependable service to all who hire from us."
