Safetech, a pioneer of conveyor safety, has moved into new premises. Over the last year, the success of its latest product, Guardian, has led to a demand for more space, for both manufacture and administration.
"We decided to continue being based in the north east of England,”says MD Robert Smith. "This central position in the UK is ideal for servicing our extensive customer network. We also have excellent transport links to Europe and America, so we can offer a rapid response to our many clients on those continents.”
Safetech’s Guardian uses the latest technology to distinguish human beings from other objects. If anyone comes into the danger zone, for example by falling onto a conveyor or entering a hazardous area, Guardian switches off the machinery.
