Designed for lone workers facing a range of potentially risky situations, Pulse allows the user to call for help with a single press of its SOS button.
Pulse is lightweight, compact and discreet. Styled as a key fob it is easy to keep close to hand without being conspicuous. Charging is straightforward and quick with the unit's docking station, while a full charge delivers up to 2 hours' talk time, or up to 170 hours on standby.
When the user presses the SOS button, Pulse opens a two-way audio connection with the Reliance Protect Monitoring Centre, where the company's highly experienced staff are on hand around the clock to provide support and assistance. Monitoring Centre staff can then listen in to the user's situation and view their location, through the high-precision GPS information sent by the unit.
Should the user wish to speak to the Monitoring Centre staff, they can do so, having pressed the SOS button, simply by speaking. The Monitoring Centre staff will not speak with the user unless instructed by the user to do so, however, to avoid the risk of compromising the user in a potentially dangerous situation.
The Reliance Protect Monitoring Centre is BS5979 Category II 24/7/365 compliant, Reliance Protect is accredited to the ISO 27001 Information Security Management standard, and Pulse is fully compliant with the BS 8484:2016 Provision of Lone Worker Services Code of Practice, including the escalation, when necessary, of incidents to the highest Level 1 Police responses.
Pulse is suitable for a range of mobile and lone working applications including public facing staff, engineers, and logistics and transport.
