It is important to take preventative action to protect your property, staff and customers, not only during nesting season but throughout the year. It is possible to discourage birds from returning to habitual nesting spots by humanely modifying their behaviour. This can be done using various methods often in combination, such as the use of birds of prey to scare the problem birds away from the area and the installation of bird proofing such as spikes, netting, gels and lasers to prevent nesting.
