Ease of integration and flexible configuration are key when it comes to integrating displays into products and systems, according to Messagemaker Displays.
LED displays are increasingly becoming the technology of choice for integrators and OEM’s seeking a cost-effective high-impact solution, with Messagemaker supplying single line LED’s for an ever-more diverse range of applications.
Single line LED displays are suitable for messaging and signs showing mainly text or simple images. Offering up to twenty times the brightness of other screen technologies and with an estimated life of at least eleven years in continual use, LED is a relatively low cost option when evaluated on a whole life basis.
The LED displays are managed via a PC or PLC. Developer integration software is supplied with the system which allows precise configuration to suit individual requirements. Displays can be programmed to automatically relay messages and updates in real-time. The robust construction of the LED displays has been developed to withstand the harshest of operating environments, from swimming pools to chemical processing and marine applications.
Also key is the technical backup and speed of response which Messagemaker is able to offer.
One company which uses Message maker’s LED displays is Charger Bay Solutions, a specialist in forklift and electric vehicle battery care and management.
Charger Bay Solutions manufacture the CBS Battery Allocation System (BAS) which is used to manage fork lift battery fleets where batteries are changed on the trucks and charged in racks to allow 24/7 operation of the truck fleet.
The BAS system which monitors the battery chargers and works on a FCFO (First Charged First Out) basis incorporates Messagemaker LED displays to notify the truck driver which battery should be taken for use next.
