Softshell wins best PPE innovation

Winning “PPE Innovation of the Year 2016” represents international recognition of the experienced manufacturer’s innovative strength and high quality standards.

The award went to the multi-functional HI-VISION Softshell FR in fluorescent orange. The judges were impressed by this high-quality, multi risk softshell jacket providing protection from the elements heat, flame, and electric arc flash up to class 2. The product offers high visibility and wearing comfort benefiting staff from utilities, civil engineering, railways, automotive and manufacturing.

"People who are exposed to extreme hazards in their everyday work must be prepared for all risks. We therefore focus on the most intensive test methods in order to protect people in the best possible way," said Reinhilde Burg, head of product management. "This makes it all the more pleasing that all the work we invest in developing high-performance materials has been recognised with this award."

The award-winning model fulfils the following EN standards: DIN EN 20471 Class 2, DIN EN 61482-1-2 Class 2, DIN EN 11612 A1/B1/C2 and DIN EN 1149-5.
