Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions is celebrating after winning a prestigious road safety award. The Brake Fleet Safety Forum Awards give recognition to organisations which have worked to improve fleet safety and were awarded in July. This is the fourth consecutive year Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions has won an award, coming out top in the Company Driver Safety category.

The company's entry was centred on measures it has taken to eliminate driver risk as part of its 'ZERO HARM' initiative, part of which is to achieve ZERO at fault injury road traffic collisions.

Judges were impressed with scale of the project, which has involved an order for 700 Mercedes Sprinter vans . and the use of RiskMaster, a web based driver screening process.
