Armadillo Merino next-to-skin wear, made from 100% Zque certified merino wool, is designed to thermoregulate the body’s core temperature.
In summer, knit structures move heat and moisture away from the skin ensuring the body stays cooler and drier. In winter, the same knit structure traps still air to give the body a buffer zone of warmth. Each piece has inbuilt odour management, UV protection, heat resistance and is naturally antibacterial.
Garry Brown from Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue said the clothing "maintains body temperature when wet and dries quickly to keep wearers warm".
The popular Cougar and Panther styles are now available in Rescue Red for fire crews and search and rescue teams.
